We're
pretty passionate about this part of the world; we love the
people, the amazing beauty of the country, and really enjoy
helping others discover "The New Nicaragua."
It
was 1993 when our project manager first came to Nicaragua
to check out the surfing. He immediately fell in love with
the place, and from that moment on he knew he wanted to spend
more time there.
Having missed the "early-in" opportunity in Costa
Rica to buy land in the 1980's, we were not about to make
the same mistake twice. Fortunately, a friend had recently
made San Juan Del Sur his home, and was also considering the
real estate opportunities. We were able to visit him, spend
the necessary time to do our due diligence, and meet the native
friends and business associates he had made.
It didn't take us long to realize that this
was an opportunity of a lifetime. PDH purchased some land
and began planning for the future.
In early 2000, PDH decided to become more
involved in the tourism industry in Nicaragua, and to offer
an alternative for those who were seeking a piece of this
future vacation destination. There were several real estate
agents, private investors, large and small developers, all
focusing on areas where land was very inexpensive, yet their
sales prices didn't reflect that. PDH took a long hard look
at the potential tourism industry and asked the countries
tourism office one simple question.
"If Nicaragua is going to make it as
a tourist destination, in their minds, which area of the country
would be the obvious location, and thus demand the highest
future possible appreciation value?"
Their reply… An emphatic SAN JUAN DEL SUR!
Shortly thereafter, PDH began to put together
a network of people, both in Nicaragua and in the U.S., who
were capable, competent, trustworthy, and committed to helping
Nicaragua in her quest. People who cared more about the countries
success, than they did about the potential profits they could
make.
To us, giving back takes center stage. PDH secured prime real
estate in and around San Juan Del Sur, which is less than
30 miles from the Costa Rican border.
One of the locations we were fortunate to
acquire is an 130+ acre private bay immediately south of the
bay at San Juan Del Sur. This spectacular property, with two,
small private beaches either side of the bay, boasts breathtaking
views of the Pacific ocean, Costa Rica, San Juan Del Sur,
and more. With its strategic location, less than a 10-minute
walk from town, we couldn't resist giving this bay a name
that portrays its sheer beauty…

Don't
misunderstand, we like making money as much as anyone, but in
our opinion, "giving back" takes center stage. We
secured hundreds of acres of prime real estate, both in and

From
homes in this community you'll be able to see the cruise ships
as you sip your favorite cocktail enjoying world-class sunsets.
You'll
enjoy the quiet, peaceful atmosphere, yet be moments from
the market place, the restaurants along the beach, local crafts,
private Spanish lessons, fishing trips, sailing, diving, snorkeling
and surfing, the town square, the Internet café, hiking,
bike rides, strolling endlessly on empty beaches, and best
of all, the ice-cream parlor. In short, Paradise Bay will
become exactly the kind of place you've been dreaming of:
A private, gate-guarded enclave, reserved for those who demand
the very best. Paradise Bay will include all of the first-class
amenities you have worked so hard to enjoy. Yet at the same
time, you'll appreciate the careful attention to detail that
enhances and preserves Nicaragua's natural beauty.
The
transformation of this site is now underway, and just as Newport
Beach, St. Tropez, The French Riviera, and Cabo San Lucas,
were once a figment of someone's imagination. Paradise Bay,
along the south west coast of Nicaragua, is destined to draw
a world of trendsetters. From private residences to vacation
villas, each built with unparalleled elegance, style and luxury,
will take ocean view living to new heights.
The
good news is, if you'd like to join us we'd be happy to call
you neighbor and friend. We've set aside a few home sites
for a small handful of forward-thinking people who look for
opportunities to own, profit from, and enjoy being part of
one of the most spectacular undiscovered coastlines in the
world.
All
along this coast, thousands of people have purchased ocean
view property. A recent article in USA Today states that over
5,000 Americans currently call Nicaragua their home. Dozens
of people have already built spectacular houses as rental
and vacation properties. (We'll soon be building a place at
Paradise Bay) The word is out, and there's little to stop
the inevitable progress.
Our
website is here to help you get more acquainted with Nicaragua
and our vision for Paradise Bay and other developments we
manage. Here, you'll find general information, photos, plot
maps, drawings, details on ownership, and much more. If you
need further information, like pricing, or if you would like
to schedule a trip to see the property in person, please feel
free to contact us.
We
look forward to meeting you at Paradise Bay.
